With a career spanning over 70 years, in 2015 Daphne entered the Guinness World Book of Records as the World’s Oldest Supermodel.

And Elaine Constantine , not only has Daphne modelled for Vogue Magazine, Dolce and Gabbana campaigns, Red or Dead fashion shows, Other Stories and high-street outlets such as Gap– but she has also published an anecdotal recount of her long-standing relationship with fashion in the anecdotal ‘The Way We Wore’.

In 2019, Daphne was awarded a British Empire Medal for her contributions to fashion that have been so crucial in helping to promote opportunities for older women in the industry.

Daphne was an inspiration to us at Models1.
We will miss her greatly.
