This weekend Models 1 will be the Official Models Scouts at Reading and Leeds Festival and we are taking some of the models along to join in with the festival fun!

We chatted to Archie Griffiths and Dylan Hartigan in the lead up to this weekend about their festival survival tips and who they are excited to see play…

Who are you looking forward to seeing play at Reading & Leeds?

 Archie – My favourite at Leeds fest this year will have to be Mumford and sons!! There music will sound even better live! Bring it on!!!!

 Dylan – Boy Better Know and Jamie T

How many festivals have you been to?

Archie –  This will be my third Leeds festival in a row! Never been to any other festival!

Dylan –  Two this summer. Reading was my first festival in 2010.

 Funniest festival memory?

Archie – Two years ago my best friend’s cooking stove set a light and blew up next to his tent! It set his whole tent on fire! It was even funnier because it was the first day we was there!

Dylan –  Seeing Madness play was amazing. They are so energetic and funny on stage.

 Top Festival tips?

Archie –  Drink a lot, dance a lot, go with amazing people, and take as many pictures as you can!!!

Dylan –  Put your tent up away from the paths.

Be irresponsible.

Who would you like to see headline Reading and  Leeds next year?

Archie – My all time three headlines have always been , Arctic Monkeys, Mumford and sons and The Killers! So I am hoping The Killers are there next year!

Dylan – The Specials.

Tell us a little bit about your festival fashion?

Archie – Always were UV face paints, Have something on your head to cover up your festival hair, don’t shower, and make sure you are always wearing shorts and sunglasses, (even in the rain) !!!!

Dylan – Shorts, vest, flannel shirt & Docs.
