Resident New Yorker Olivia Palermo joined fashion’s elite in London last night to attend the British Fashion Awards. The model, it girl and founder of oliviapalermo.com, who is a favourite with numerous designers, was also there to present the emerging talent award to Mary Katrantzou. The big question was, what was she going to wear?? This is where good friend Matthew Williamson came in. Olivia is a big fan of the British designer, and is a regular front row fixture at his shows. Last night she stole the show in a piece from his Autumn winter 11 collection. We spoke to Matthew himself:
Olivia looked stunning in my AW’11 vintage feather mini-dress at the British Fashion Awards last night. It’s a pleasure to dress her, we’ve become friends over the past few years as she’s been a great supporter of mine and always comes to my shows. Olivia has a way of looking immaculate and chic in whatever she wears and I’m flattered that she genuinely loves wearing my clothes.
