M1 New Faces James  Harris and George Wilson got the superstar treatment on set this week with Oribe. The boys took to the streets of covent garden styled in head to toe Diesel and grooming by Oribe stylist Kieran Tudor. Taking note of Diesel’s rebel spirit and embracement of natural/off-beat beauty, Kieran chatted us up about each of the four looks he created for the shoot and gave us tips on how to use Oribe to achieve them.

JAMES, LOOK 1 – Spritz damp hair with Foundation Mist then work a golf ball size of surfcomber mouse through the hair concentrating the distribution to the roots at the fringe area as this will build volume and body as you begin to dry the hair, use fingers to encourage natural movement while lifting the roots to create a textured quiff. once the hair hair is dry, apply Rough Luxury to the palms of the hands and shoe shine the product through the hair really working it in to create separation and definition, moulding in to desired shape, finish with Free styler hairspray for a flexible hold.

 

GEORGE, LOOK 1 – Work a generous amount of straight away smoothing cream through damp hair and blow-dry using a classic Denman brush in sweeping motions forward to reduce the volume from hair and direct the length forward. Once hair is dry, apply Air Style Flexible Finish Cream to the hands and work into the shorter area of the hair around the crown in swirling motions to create a soft groomed texture.

JAMES, LOOK 1, REWORKED – To add more texture first blast hair with Dry Texturizing Spray and use hands to shake hair around as you spray and allow fringe to sweep naturally as it falls, then set the texture in place using Superfine Hairspray teasing sections as you finish the style off.

GEORGE, LOOK 1, REWORKED – Rub a small amount of Fiber Groom Elastic Texture Paste in to hands and work evenly through hair before adding a touch more to the hands and tweaking hair, lifting the fringe and creating a choppy textured finish, add Impermèable Anti-Humidity Spray as a final touch to set the style with a soft hold which will protect hair from the elements.
