Our scouts boarded the plane this morning, with excited smiles on their faces, to Ireland  HOTTEST  music festival- Electric Picnic!

The line up this year sees Bjork, Fatboy Slim &  The Arctic Monkeys headlining as well as some other amazing artists such as Two Door Cinema Club, My Bloody Valentine, Disclosure, Kodaline & Crystal Fighters.

Our women’s board booker, Sarah Prendergast, is an Irish lass herself so we thought we’d sit her down in the Models 1 Q&A chair and take her for a spin on her favourite subject, Ireland of course!

Where in Ireland are you from?

I am from the Midlands. Portlaoise is the name of the town!

What is your favourite thing about Ireland?

The people. You cant beat the Irish banter!

What’s your favourite Irish expression?

´the craic´ meaning ´hows things´

What’s your favourite Irish dish?

We don’t really have an Irish dish but maybe stew

Do you like Guinness?

NO! I hear its great for you and full of iron but its tastes horrible! Sorry Arthur!

Do you believe in Leprechauns?

Absolutely! They all over Ireland, and have big pots of gold at the end of their rainbows!!

 

Where’s your Irish dream destination?

Kerry is a beautiful part particularly Dingle. Lahinch in Clare is fabulous in the summer, it has some fantastic beaches.

Tell me an interesting Ireland fact?

 The unsinkable ship Titantic was built in Ireland.

What’s your favourite Irish joke?

What do you call Pat the baker when Pat the baker losses his job………….. PAT

Tragic! I know couldn’t think of anything.

Who are you most excited to see at Electric Picnic?

 Bjork without question! She is such an entertainer and i cant wait to see what she wears. I have seen FatBoy Slim and Arctic Monkeys and they never disappoint. I am also excited to see Kodaline, Savages , the Funeral Suits and Cronin!
