So, this is your first time in London. What’s your first impression?

Yeah, I’ve never even been to Europe before. I only started travelling last year when I started modelling. I like the buildings.

What’s been your best model moment so far?

I don’t know, I like it all, fashion photography and runway. It’s not about the modelling for me, I like the way photographers use different sets of skills to portray fashion. For me that’s interesting.

Where would you love to visit on a shoot?

Norway

What’s the best thing about your hometown?

I actually get homesick very easily. I love the vibe, especially in Cape Town. I also love the culture. Besides the problems South Africa has, it’s a great country, we have so much freedom.

Do you have any hobbies?

I used to do a lot of sport, but not anymore-I got lazy! When I was 11, my dad bought me my first guitar. Every day I would come home from school and sit in my room and play for like 7 hours. Two years after that my brother got a bass guitar, but he didn’t really play it, so I started playing the bass guitar too. A few months after I started studying the violin. So I suppose I play a lot of instruments.

Do you play as part of a band?

I used to be in a band, but now I just do music for myself because there is no more space in the music industry. My genre has already been depleted. Music and commercial music is all becoming the same thing. The genres that I like most are Jazz, blues and Metal… you just don’t find that many people listening to those any more, just 1,2,3,4 beats.

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

I was talking to my girlfriend the other day about this. She said the ultimate power would be to stop time, because you could get away with anything. Not maliciously, but if I could stop time I could do anything!

Describe yourself in 3 words

I’m just chilled

How would you describe your style?

That’s hard. I’m not particularly into fashion, but I like things from the shoots and lines I have modelled with before. Overall, I like sportswear and comfortable stuff… it’s all about being comfortable. I’ve worn some clothes that are so restricting on shoots, and I see people in the street wearing similar stuff not being able to walk properly, and wonder how they do it.

Describe an average day

I guess I just play guitar. If I’m in Cape Town I’ll go down to this really nice street called Long Street, which is really vibey. I’ll either go there or go skating. Yeah, just a chilled day.
