New to London, Alexia Palmer is here for her first ever show season, where we are sure she is going to cause a stir. Her striking, carefree beauty and seemingly endless limbs are a winning combination, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store…

What are your hobbies?

Listening to music, modelling, hanging out with friends. I also go to church a lot, where we do a lot of singing.

What are your favourite things?

Clothes, heels and iPhones-I don’t own one but I’ll hopefully get one soon.

What’s the best thing about your hometown?

There are a lot of nice things about my country. Mainly the beaches and the weather! I can’t swim but I love the beach.

What is a traditional Jamaican dish?

Ackee swordfish, which is delicious. You pick the ackee from the tree, and when it’s open, you boil it so you can peel it, because it is poisonous if not. Once it’s boiled you put it with the swordfish in another dish, with tomato’s, dumplings and butter, it’s amazing. Another traditional dish is just rice,chicken and peas, which we have for Sunday dinner.

If not modelling, what do you see yourself doing in ten year’s time?

A bank manager, I love accounting. I’m studying business and accounting at home.

What city would you most like to visit?

I would love to go to Paris. I’ve been really lucky, first i wanted to go to New York and I went, then to London and I’m here! Hopfully Paris is next
