Laura Crane’s Beauty Secrets!
With a life spent surfing the waves off the coast of Hawaii, Laura Crane (Models 1 Special) is exposed to all the elements on a daily basis. With the beach babe look down to a t, this young lady’s beauty routine is more about protecting and nourishing. We found out more…
SKINCARE
When I’m away I always use kids Nivea sun cream in factor 50, a full block! I find the ones made for adults use a lot of zinc which makes it really heavy and that can be really bad for your skin. Then in the evening, I put a Nivea after-sun on.

On a day to day basis when I’m not surfing I use Nivea Day Moisturiser and I really like the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, I can get it really cheap in airports! I use it on everything, my lips and if I get a little rub from a bikini.
During the winter I use a Nivea Body Moisturiser and the Johnson’s Holiday Skin that has a built in tan when mine fades.

HAIR CARE
I use Moroccan Oil all the time, it’s amazing. My hair just gets really dried out by the sun and the salt, so I put it on the tips when it’s looking dry and it makes it look healthier. Another product I often use is Aussie 3 minute miracle, and just leave it in while I shave my legs!

MAKE-UP
When surfing I use a Maybelline Waterproof mascara. I always put it over regular mascara as well as I find myself rubbing my eyes. I don’t usually wear that much make-up, I use MAC because I get it really cheap when I go away! I use a Nivea tinting moisturiser and then mascara, and if I’m going out I use the moisturiser, MAC foundation and a little bit of eyeliner. I don’t wear much lipstick because I think it looks a bit funny on me.

TRAVEL ESSENTIAL
When I’m on the plane I get really tired, it’s nice and cold and wakes me up!
