We all know how important it is to look good during Fashion Week, whichever city you may be lucky enough to be part of. London is known for its diverse, and often extreme, sense of style. For a model, it is important to get the balance of looking the part, and being comfortable, especially as the majority of the days are spent travelling from casting to show, and vice versa. With the help of the lovely Annie Hamill, who will be taking on her first fashion week this season, we’ve explored a few fail-safe shapes and colours.

If in doubt, black is always a good option. Whether layered on its own, or mixed in with other shades, it never fails to make an impression. Keep the legs streamlined with a pair of fitted jeans or leggings (mixing it up with leather), and work on layering up the top half. This could be big knits, shirts, and battered jackets, or for a slightly smarter approach, a blazer. Finally, accessories always go down a treat. Chunky healed boots complete the look whilst still being comfortable enough for all that walking, and a wide-brimmed hat or large hood complete the look perfectly.

Voila! your fashion week dilemma solved!
