Watch Josh Beech & Danny Pratt at West Rocks tonight!
Josh Beech & The Johns, and Danny Pratt will be performing tonight at West Rocks, Shepperd’s Bush Bar. This is an event not to be missed!
We had a chat with Danny to find out what it was all about…
Models 1: So tell me about your band?
Danny Prat: Well my names Danny Pratt, and that’s what the bands named after. Me and the guys in the band are thinking of creating a separate thing, but at the moment its named under Danny Pratt.
M1: What style of music do you play?
DP: I’d say its kind of Indie, electro, pop, acoustic, Caribbean mash up
M1: How long have you guys been together?
DP: A day. Yesterday was our first rehearsal. I wrote all the stuff and then met a couple of the musicians through various contacts, and together we’re playing all of my stuff at the moment and then we’re all going to start collaborating and writing our own stuff and bringing it all together.
M1: How long have you been in England?
DP: A year. It was my anniversary yesterday actually. I love it here, I was supposed to only be in London for a month. My agency sent me on a trip to do the shows in Paris, Milan and London. and I just stayed in London. I didn’t end up doing Paris, just stayed!
M1: How do you think modelling and music work together?
DP: I think they work well together, I used to work in bars and things to make ends meet. As a model you’ve got time, and your doing something creative as well.
M1: What do you hope to be doing in five years time?
DP: I’d like to be a superstar. Playing in Maddison Square Gardens, that would be cool
M1: What instruments do you play?
DP: I learnt everything on the saxophone, music theory. I played that when i was really young, then i stopped that, and taught myself the piano and guitar. Now i also produce and compose my music.
M1: What inspires you?
DP: That’s tricky. Everything, mostly about girls actually. Everything, life, hard things, amazing things, anything with levels of inspiration in it.
